Anyone have some to sell or can recommend a good source?

I plan to put a TM-2300 on my Gibertini 1.2m (it's a very sheltered spot). Currently have 2 lnbs for 7E & 10E.

I cut the existing 4" mast at the right height for the fixed dish but need a few inches higher for the motor setup.

So am planning to address 2 issues with a smaller mast clamped to the current 4" mast:

1. Technomate specifies max size 65mm, and

2. The current mast has veered very slightly off true vertical, probably from the roots of trees, so will use some shims.

Metals4u sell 3m for £221.10 inc VAT https://www.metals4u.co.uk/materials/mild-steel/mild-steel-pipe/pipe-galvanized/8690-p - Ouch!!

I'm in the HP4 post code (Herts/Bucks/Beds border).

My TM-2600 fits on a 3" pole, though there's only just enough thread to get the nuts on securely. A slightly longer square U-bolt or slight modification to the clamp and it'll fit easily. The manual also specifies up to 65mm pole so I'm guessing it's not too different to the TM-2300 bracket.

Edit: ah sorry you wanted extra height. A scaffold pole might be easier to get hold of, and will be strong enough.

I have a TM2300 here, the bracketry does fit the larger 80mm without trouble.

Thanks all.

I've ordered some pole from The Metal Store.
