Hi,
I have a few 36 volt 8" optical actuators for sale that are brand new. They are made by LINAK and are high quality, the model number is Linak LA30. I contacted LINAK UK with the part number and was informed they were no longer in production. However, when they were in production they were manufactured in Germany.
Due to the 8" stroke length they are probably best used as an inclined orbit actuator where the short stroke length and high sensitivity from the optical switch are ideal. They can be used for Azimuth but would probably only provide a limited arc.
Please note that a 5V connection is required, some v-boxes and 36 volt receiver/positioners have a 5V connection. Or, a separate 5V line could be used to operate the actuator with the remaining 4 wires connected to a v-box. Also, there is no arm clamp or fixing bolts included, however, an old arm clamp shimmed out can be used to secure the actuator.
The actuators come with a black hood that provides weather protection. This can be removed and self amalgamating tape applied as an alternative for weather protection. They are boxed in plain packaging with no branding on the box.
Although these actuators are brand new, they are no longer in production so I was unable to find a link to the precise model. However, I have pasted below a link to the nearest model I could find.
