thanks Jack and everyone else who has helped all you guys are cool . think I'm almost sorted now just doing a blind scan motor seem to be ok did another reset inputted the information provided still got to do a little fine tuning tomorrow should be all done . I did move it yet again it's not that far off from where Martin suggested I should have listened in the first place but you live and learn. jobs a goodin

Hi Guys
I'm back right have just changed the wire from my box to dish from Shotgun Cable to a better quality cable as I was thinking that this was the cause of my motor not performing correctly by not getting enough power to it so turned everything of fitted new wire tuned back on now I get the below message right so again thinking correct me if I'm wrong ? that there is a LNB Fault so changed lnb still get the error have tried testing without motor which by the way shows no signs of life

Hi Steve give this a go.
a. Press the Main Menu button on the remote
b. Go to Installation > Satellite Setup
c. Check that the LNB Type is Universal and that the LNB Frequency is 9.750/10.600

I bought a little tester, I did it with a ham radio wire last year, and it cost me £40 to have it fixed, I like to do my own installs but I am scared of going on the roof, I paid a tv Arial man to install it and did the wire myself, I had to have him back my own fault,
