Hi John,
thanks and I did not tried in linear...

Just looking at my analyser plot Edgar for 17° E - - can you see a very low level fairly wide Hor signal at 3993 H ? .... it's not there on V or circular and does not seem to be coming off one of the satellites either side of 17° E

Yes I can see 3994. I´m just in circular - had to test in linear soon (when there is time)...

Thanks ...
Also - a large difference in received strength with you, not sure which size reflector your on but your location seems to be in a stronger footprint area or possibly part of a steerable beam ? ..... i'll have another look to see if it's come up a bit in strength.

... Same results as Feedsat with me here in Central UK with a 2.2 PF.
Empty apart from beacon at top end of band and the few data freq's at the bottom end so just looks like they are using one of the dedicated spot beams at the moment.
Monitor this position for Ka & C band activity on a regular basis with H/V/L/R polarities but nothing exciting to report up to yet..... would also like to hear from any locals of the area with any more information .. eg the extended high band Ku frequencies 13.4 - 13.6 GHz range and of any suppliers of the required lnb etc.
