You could try here

_http://www.colin99.co.uk/bsb.html

or just do google searches with "modify BSB squarial" or something like that, I've once found loads but haven't got my bookmarks right here on me. But remember, this thread here is about the BSB square dish and the round dish, really, not the squarial which is a flat planar antenna ;)

had a play on the old squarial and picked up hrt1 and italian jewellery sellavision on a unmodded squarial on normal universal frequency 11489 h 27000 13e a bit of pixellating but watchable could anyone post the what satellite page for modify squarial for telecom 5w

Theres nothing to modify on them. They are looking for circularly polarised signals, so the innards could be turned over to accept circular polarity the other way, but they cant be converted for H/V polarity used nowadays.

5W signals should be so strong that you will get some signals even though the lnb is set wrong.

You may need to modify the LO setting on the rceiver to 11700khz

That's correct, the squarial is setup for R polarisation, if you turn the plastic sheet inside it you can receive L polarisation... theoretically because they're hardly any Ku band circular polarisation transmissions in Europe!

The channels you're receiving are on tp 12520.00 V 27500 3/4 so where's the catch here?

Just got my hands on a 35cm Channel Master BSB dish and bought a collar from the states for few quid.

Been out testing with a Tevion LNB why the skew got 1w and 5w easily.

Going to stick her on 5w just for Ariane launches I think.

Ah a most worthy use for an old dish. :)

Very nice, I should dig out my minidish, cos after 5.5 years since buying it, the thing is finally fitted with a 40mm LNB clamp and suitable LNB!!!! :-rofl2

It's in a box, so no pictures available at this time... O-Ha

Thanks, it's a quality solid dish and seems to work very well. At least I can say I own a Channel Master dish. ;)
