Hi all
I'm completely new to this forum and forums in general, so apologies in advance for any stupidity on my part. I currently have a Tivusat decoder set up. which is working just fine. However with the volume of Italians in my house i'm aiming to replace the LNB (with a twin or quad version) and have a second box set up in the kitchen, so as to be able to watch different channels in different rooms. The problem I have is that we a very limited on space in the kitchen and TV will be wall mounted, leaving very little space for a decoder.
The TV going in the Kitchen is a Sony KDL32W653 which has a pcmcia port and Satellite tuner. Am i right in thinking that a tivusat cam with an activated card could be inserted directly into the TV and work without a separate decoder?
I've scoured the internet and read conflicting things but it seems to me like it could be possible
Any advice to help me clear this up would be hugely appreciated
Thanks, Fab
