Back to square one with these bearings, those 6882's only come in 5mm height, which I thought i'd get away with...
But I forgot to take in to consideration the flange! which only leaves me with 3mm height, then measuring the polar mount I just discovered the thickness of where the bearings fit is different on the top to the bottom so that one needs to be at least 10mm.

I wouldn't know of a ham one, but some food company was growing meat for burgers not long ago.

Think I've solved this puzzle, will post it all here in case someone else needs to do the same:

Oilite Bushings:
1/2" x 5/8" x 1/2" - These are a little bit too tall compared to the originals but I will file it down so its around 9.5mm as the flange isn't quite as deep as the original.

Stainless (INOX) Inserts:
12.7mm - M8 (Must be custom made for something, as this is an odd size but perfect for our application!) I selected 10mm from the Drop Down box.

Also looking through the Oilite Catalogue the correct bearing would be this, but I can't find it for sale anywhere:

Gone with 13mm Stainless bar, as the Oilites are 12.7mm, will save me sanding/cutting them.

Just realised something with how the bearings are set up on these mounts.

The two bearings are technically loose in the frame, so it's very important they are the exact size.
they are mainly held in by gravity/dish weight, nothing physically clamps the bearings to the mount.
The washers are there to just stop it falling out.
If you imagine the washers are not there behind the nut you could just lift the whole thing off! Even with the washers there is upwards play (doesn't matter in actual use, as this won't ever happen)

I would have expected them to have fitted the bearings in opposing directions with the flanges going from inside out or outside in and using a bar through the whole lot would be stronger rather than 2 bolts.

Just in case you decide to look into modding the mount to accept a pair of flange bearings top and bottom I have attached a picture of a Precision polar mount that shows the bearings mounted in opposite directions at the top and bottom of the inner rectangular frame.

Oilite bearings are here along with nice stainless steel (INOX) inserts,
all fits like perfection, got to love precision engineering!

Weather has been nice today, decided to put a 2m/70cm Collinear up (Diamond X300)
And thought I would finish off this polar mount, I stripped it all down, cleaned off any corrosion, primered and painted.
Every nut and bolt has been replaced with Stainless (INOX), new Oilite bearings with Stainless inserts fitted.
Greased up with SuperLube - Its not dodgy paint around the bearings, it's grease

Big thank you to RimaNTSS for the L Shaped declination bracket.

Just need some 3" Pipe, some Stainless threaded bar, chemical resin and then she will be up

Lol, I bought a light grey carpet for the room (wee bit darker than yours) and I think its looking a bit grubby and that's in a "No shoes" house, nowt will beat my dad's number........White carpet......Why? Holy cow lol

I nearly went white, but sock fluff

It's been down since Nov 2015, looks fine still.
Will probably buy a carpet washer at some point.

Suns out tools out!

Drilled a load of holes, got some threaded rod and chemically (resin) set them in to the concrete bases.
Fitted a nut and washer either side so I can adjust for absolute plumbness.
