If dish was giving good reception, check that it has not moved (...just a few mm's or cm's). Getting CNN and some more is because they are on the very strong Europe coverage sat beam, while BBC, ITV etc are on the restricted UK beam that dies off the longer away from UK one gets.

Channel's (transponder's) Europe or UK footprints > FlySat Astra 2E/2F/2G @ 28.2° East

If checking dish\lnb adjustement does not help, see 28e levels in south france - SatsUK, the UK beam levels are low this spring (much lower than previous springs imo).

Hello everyone
I am in Port la nouvelle just 10 k south of Narbonne and am struggling to find out the dish size I need
So far have tried a 125 one that cannot catch the HD channels....analogic channels ok except ITV 2 and 4 ...the local installer is no help ....would anybody have an idea? Regards
Henri

There are NO analogue channels - we presume you mean the SD ones

I am in Carcassonne just 60 odd kms from you,with a 120cms
Reception varies a lot across the year,
During spring ,very low reception: you had to do with SD bbc channels, but usually could get channel 4HD..plus a few others
Lately,summer arriving,reception is gradually improving;I could get bbc 1&2HD and sometimes bbc4HD
Some SD channels of the freesat batch are weaker than others, like Yesterday,Dave, some ITVs.
It s still very variable these days, but settling to better reception.

Hello
Thank you for the info....
You confirm what I was thinking....a 150 looks like it is what is needed....in Nice they use a 180 to be safe.....but that is far from us.

Levels getting a hair better, but still down compared to previous years here north of Nice, most UK's received ok, but still missing some very precious 3dB or so all over, = too many channels lingering uncomfortably close to cutout at evenings, and zero weather margin. And no way I would imagine anything bigger than the 130cm on the chimney (the only high enough spot here to clear mountains\trees), already quite lucky to not have sustained any storm\wind damage.

Hello
Is there anybody with a 150 dish on the 28.2 in the south of France ? HD channels?
