Despite cable having been available in my location for 30 years, I have never falt the desire to hook up with them and from family experiences probably never will. It would seem VM continue the trend within the larger communication companies of rather aggressive incremental pricing deals once you introduction contract expires. My son took up a deal with them when he bought his first property near Croyden two years ago. His deal was about £50/month for telephone, pretty fast, broadband and basic TV channels. When his contract expired, within weeks he was paying nearly £80.00 per month which he obviously got rid of. Why is it that companies think, they can abuse their customer in this way? I think they would be far better offering 1yr, 2 yr or five year contracts to customers, that way they can choose what suites them and their pockets without creating this kind of annual churn
