Had a great view of it about 9:45 PDT last night, a bit low in the sky, but still a good look-see, a bit of clouds left over from some thunder storms tonight, so maybe tomorrow for some better viewing.
I got a quick look last night about 2315. It was really far too light for any sort of decent view as cloud was coming in from the west but I coul;d see it through binoculars. Half an hout latwer the cloud had obliterated the view again.
Well I have spent two nights out after midnight and whilst I was able to see it very faintly despite a long exposure 1600 ASA 3.5 4 seconds, my camera could not produce anything, I am still in awe of my daughter's photgraph taken on her iPhone
The hardest part was trying to find it through the teeny tiny view finder on the camera, took about 10 to 15 min, also had to wait till the old eyes got accustomed to the dark.
