Sorry bud you have to be a member for some time and have made more posts to have PM facilities. Nobody though will talk you through defrauding broadcasters out of their money, if you seriously want to do that then you will have at least a month to three months reading to do. All the information you require is already on the forum however the Vu + is not in any way shape or form a replacement for Sky Hd, you have to learn how to use it whereas the sky Hd unit is designed and built for mr average. The Vu is a high end specialist enthusiasts stb, nobody is saying you are not capable but you will have to do the reading, as for the missus well only you know the answer to that

My Misses still can't figure out how to use my Vu+ :-lmao

The same could be said for all my other Dreamboxes too.

Although on the brighter side she can use the dBox2 when theres a Neutrino image on it :D

When my stepdaughter came over the other week, she had the basics, like selecting favourites, changing channels, using the EPG and setting a reminder, within an hour. (On the Solo with a little instruction.) It took me a week!! It's a box that rewards persistance, though as Topper says not the ideal choice to migrate to from a $ky box.

My 6 and 8 year-olds can work it fine and my missus loves it. For me the secret was only putting channels in the bouquets if they are on fixed dishes. That way they can zap multiple satellites without the pause. All the stuff I watch on my motorised dishes they don't watch. With most other receivers it would be difficult to separate the two.

The only problem my missus causes me is tying up both tuners making recordings before going to bed so I can't use the box... so I end up having to watch tv using one of my other receivers.

What! You let the wife use your box unsupervised :-lmao

Somewhat bizarrely, for all three and a half centuries SWMBO and I have been together, she would freely admit to not knowing much beyond ON and OFF so any additions to the stack remained part of the dark arts as far as she was concerned.

However, since the acquisition of a Humax Foxsat HDR and its versatile "one for all" Telecommander, she has mastered the art of controlling all essential features of the PVR, the DVD Player, the Telly and the Hi-Fi with no apparent difficulty.

These are worrying times.

Thankfully, batteries do expire (just tell her she's worn them out).

Set this up a few days ago. Put the Sky card in, boxkey, set up the Bouquets by B16MCC‎, which are brilliant, then went downstairs. Came down an hour later and there's my Dad using it straight away! I was as shocked as anyone. He's figured out how to stream the video files from my PC now, he's enjoying this.

Nice first post. You are basically asking the members of a British forum for information on how to defraud the British satellite pay tv provider. Not going to happen bud if for no other reason that anyone helping you could end up in court being asked some very awkward questions by some very expensive lawyers. I assure you Sky can afford better lawyers than anyone here on the forum, and I doubt anyone relishes going up against them at the high court.

Oh and answering your questions could get the forum closed down as well.
