:-Welcome1

You're confused? - think I'm more confused!

Is the DBox not a cable receiver?

If so, then the dish is for satellite only and therefore would be no point in connecting the DBox to the dish or Sky+.

You can use the dish for another satellite receiver thought the Sky+ box but you wouldn't get anything that Sky+ box doesn't already get.

Unless you want the Free-to-air channels in another room.

You're right in what your saying that the DBox is a cable receiver but I've heard that it can do more or less what the DreamBox does.

And i think I may have wasted £100 on Ebay on one for Sat! :-doh!

Completely different transmission types. Put it back on ebay and try to recoup your losses, then put the money towards a decent SATELLITE receiver :D
