Hi, I'm after a CAM that will take my DigitAlB card.

I've just bought a TM6800 and using the card slot for a CH4 HD and need somewhere to put the DigitAlb card.

I need something plug n' play or already programmed, I don't want to be messing about programming it.

Has anyone got anything I could use hanging around please, I can pay with Paypal.

Cheers

Robbo:)

be sure you buy at least version 3.1 conax cam,or 4.0 the last one, older version like 2.0 does not suport Au!
after a key change,i have xcam here and the oasias, iam not sure is conax suportet on this cams or not,.i cant test without card!
reports i read on the net told that digi alb hd has misarable prictrue quality looks like an upscaled old vhs tape, can you confirm this?

I can't get DigitAlB HD as I have an official card and not the Kaon reciever that they make you have, so I don't know what the quality is like. The SD is alright.

I would have thought that the Oasis works.:)

Sorry Robbo, I don't have Conax CAM lying around.
But a Technisat Conax from Sateuropa costs only 30 pounds or the Neotion Conax at 59 pounds (MPEG-2 and MPEG-4)
Could the latter help to open the DigitAlb HD channels?
Not sure which firmware versions do they have, but you can ask before you order it.
Also ask if they are both good for DigitAlb.

Thanks guys, I think £25 would be too much as I could get a new one for £30:)

I'm also persuing a different option at the moment, trying to add a 2nd card reader, ripped out of my TM1000D+

Sounds interesting idea Robbo. Please give details if it works, with pictures.
On the other hand, a bit risky especially on a new receiver.
Is it a 6800D or 6800HD?:)

I hope that it will work well, but I have my doubts in case it doesn't have the correct revision, which might be rather difficult to find out from e b a y.
Ref. Turok's post #2.
