Cubecafe 250s

Hello to all
Recently I bought Cubecafe 250s and I have some questions.
1)Can I watch tv to my computer via lan and how?
2)When I connect the receiver to my router I can't download anything from the blue pannel,when I connect to my pc and download via pc the downloading is ok.Why happend this?I use the Pli image.

1. Yes
Using a program called Bit Control 2, you might find it on the dreambox section or here: www,bitcontrol.com
It will install mpeg2 codecs and a shortcut for windows media player onto your desktop. If you want to change channel you can do it using the webserver and it will update what you are seeing in windows media player. It has 1 or 2 seconds of lag compared to what it shows on your tv.

2. It could be one of these:
- router firewall is blocking traffic from\to 250s on port 80
- dhcp is turned off
- dhcp is not working properly
- you might need to set a fixed ip for the 250s and allow that ip to access the internet
- disable the router firewall to check if that was the problem
- on communication setup check if the ip is set right and network is enabled

Thanks I will try bitcontrol.
Now about firewall with same router I used a dreambox without problem.DHCP is off and I use a fix ip for the 250s.

Well i had no problems with the internet using fantacy team, nabilosat and sfteam images, still haven't tried PLi. Sorry can't help you mate...

I don't see why not.
If you use bitcontrol to stream to your pc the on your desktop should look like this:

bcmsdb://rootassword@box.ip/?receivertype=dream box
Ex: bcmsdb://root:bananas@192.168.1.200/?receivertype=dream box

You can also stream to VLC by clicking the VLC link in the weberver (enigma images). When installing vlc you have to tick the firefox vlc plugin and make sure it is active in the \tools\addons\plugins menu. When you click the VLC link a a donload will sho up and you just open it with VLC and it will start displaying the channel.
Older versions used to work better than the latest one, at least for me.
