Finally received my dr hd d15 receiver, been waiting 7 weeks for it to arrive and no it wasn't sent surface. The receiver is equipped with file 1.34p from March 24 of this year but I noticed on the official site that the 1.16p was the latest file from July 4 2013. Any advise as to whether I should roll back to the official fw or keep the file it came with.

1.34 will be fine and will obviously be more up to date than 1.01. Support for the Dr HD receivers is coming from a Russian forum and I see that there is actually a 1.35 version on 22 April. Google Legion Dr HD.

You will be able to get updates also from this forum in English.

I have the Grand Triple and I use the up to date firmware from there. I don't know why the official Dr HD site is so out of date.

Can someone with D15 check whether signal below lock is showing a proper SNR as opposed to flicker between 2.0 and 2.9dB?

This is the issue on F15 receivers with firmware newer than 1.25. So wonder if the same is true for D15...

Im using FW 1.21pv4. Older 1.xx softs show SNR below lock correctly as it is,like PC cards. And 1,21v4 looks for me the best.2.xx softs show below lock still same . Signal is flickering from 2,0-2,9, no matter what modulation

For it to show a lock you need to be more in the 4.0 db range. Living in NA I'm creating my own channel list but cannot seem to find a way, if there is a way, to change the satellite orbital degree. For the moment it's on my 3m bud for c band but it would look much nicer if I could equate the satellite name with the proper degree.

I seem to remember I updated some locations externally in the PC channel editor ages ago. Various NDF editors from Technomate and Clarke Tech work as they are based on the same hardware.

Any idea where I could find them? And thanks for the reply.

Well the editors I have are pretty old and obtained from forums that no longer exist and I couldn't see anything obvious here but I did find something on the DrHD website that might work. There are a couple of NDF editors in the F15 download section here http://dr-hd.com/support/viewcategory/6-dr-hd-f15.html. I assume these will work for the D15 too and allow you to edit the satellite names and positions like the old versions did, but keep a backup of your database just in case it screws something up!! (As I don't have a D15 I can't test it)

Clarke Tech, Technomate and DrHD all seem to use the same NDF type database for channel lists.

Edit: There's also SetEdit (http://www.setedit.de/SetEdit.php?spr=2&Editor=58) which will allow you to do a few changes for free or you can register for full editing.

That's a shame >> I don't know if it's at all possible to alter the Upload restrictions, but as an alternative, do you have a URL for a Download Resource?

Unfortunately the upload limit is global, over all types of attachments and we're not able to adjust for individual file types. Also and probably more critical, we have problems with zip packages containing .exe files, it can lead to false reports of the site carrying malware.

Best is to upload to one of the big file sharing sites and link to it. :)

Thanks, I will give it a shot later. I have the d15 destined for ku band with my sg6100 hh motor and will definitely need the proper orbital degrees with usals.

Unfortunately this file doesn't allow for any orbital degree changes.

The f15 file isn't compatible with the d15.
