Hi Guys...my old eagle box packed up today and i managed to get my hands on a 2nd hand one..i set up the 2nd hand box with clines/flines/ccam but i cant get any clients to connect to me although i can connect to their severs..i am using same router as my first eagle box and dyndns updater is working so i guess problem lies in the ccam config..any ideas what i should be looking for?

Cheers

it wouldnt be your cccam config, the problem you have is that the server listening port is still forwarded to the old boxes ip address in your router. you need to access the routers setup page and change the ip of the port forward to that of your new box.

yup, or do as analogue says, change the ip on the new box to that of the old one in network settings on the box and untick dchp and reboot.

Nice one. Always take the easy route.

Its also worth noting down what you did & the ip settings - just in case for the future!

Hi guys.new problem now...i changed my isp and intended to keep continuing my old router along with my eagle but for some reason old router wont work with new isp so i have to use new router..now none of my clients can connect to me..i am guessing i will have to port forward to the new router my eagle ip? also will i have to change my dyndns account? set up my eagle years ago and am very rusty and just want to be sure before i start changing stuff around..

cheers

Log into the original router and write down all the settings (port forwarding etc) Work methodically through the menus to make sure you dont miss anything.

Set the new router up the same.
