finding 28.2 with foxsat?

hi all - any one online that can help?

is the above possible? I know I'm pointing very near from nextdoors Sky dish & dishpointer, but I can't find it!

I've no sat finder/meter as I couldn't pick one up around here (in the wilds of Cumbria)

is there any advice or tricks I could use..

You first set the stb to a freesat frequency selected from here and connect a portable tv that can be seen through the window from the dish and adjust the dish very slowly or do it by flexing. You have to wait at least a couple of seconds for the processing to take place before a picture is displayed the sound in my experience usually kicks in first. Your dish should look similar in elevation to the piture below

It can be done with a Sl<y receiver but not sure it can be done with the foxsat without seeing the screen at the dish location

Use a compass to set the dish to the close enough direction and then use an in-line powered signal meter less than £10.

Thanks for your help guys, just ordered an in-line sat finder/meter from on of the site sponsors (HD Ltd)

Guess I'll have to be patient till it arrives up here, and then have another go.....

The sat finder worked a treat, if I can do this anone can...

Now I have a small issue with the Foxsat not updating software OTA, but this could be cos it already has done... Is HZPTSF 1.00.13 the latest version?
