Hi all,

I have some problem, I cant FTP any files to my DB from my computer. I have tried with DB Control Center and other program and it doesnt work (it was a long time ago that I did it last time). I have entered the correct IP in DBCC, and the program says that Network is OK, but then I receive the message "DreamFlash not found, Telnet Disconnected". And when I look under the Telnet-box it says "Login incorrect".

Please, can anyone give me some idea about whats wrong.:-worship

Hi Tunnan,

I've not used DBCC, so cannot comment on that.
However, basic things to check are:
1. Have you changed the password of your DM7000S?
The Dreambox has only one user: root
and the default password is: dreambox

2. Can you still access the Enigma web interface using IE or (preferably) Firefox?
Code:
Enter: http://(ip-of-your dreambox) in the address bar of the web browser.
eg: http://192.168.0.24 (in my case)
You should be prompted for User: and Password:
which will be the same as above, user: root, password: dreambox
If this works OK then IP/user/password are all correct and should work with ftp.

I use gFTP on my Linux Netbook and have used ws_ftp95 on a Windoze system but any free ftp program should work.

I'm not sure about the 'DreamFlash not found' message?
I think DreamFlash was an old pre-FlashWizard multiboot system.
Are you using Multiboot?
What image are you using?
I use FlashWizard Multiboot, with images on a USB memory stick. I use mainly a Gemini 4.70 image.

I suggest you try a stand alone ftp program (after checking the above).

Good luck, John.

Hi John,

Thanks for your answer.

I must have changed my user and/or password a long time ago, but I dont remember to what, because when I try to access the DB through IE I cant login.

Is there any possibility to reset the user and/or password to root and dreambox???

Hi Tunnan,

There is a thread in the stickies on this subject. Below are links to the most important posts in the thread but you can read through all of it if you wish. I have looked in the Gemini 4.70 image on my DM7000S and to install Tuxbox Commander you need to:
Press Blue button...select Addons...select Download (Gemini Server)...select Plugins...select Tuxcom 116 - 08.04.2007...press Green button to install...press OK...press exit 3 times.

To start Tuxbox Commander in Gemini 4.70...press Green button...select Tuxbox Commander...OK
Then follow the information in the posts below.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes, John.
