A few years ago my other half had a meeting in the West End of Glasgow. She decided she had time for a quiet pint in one of the Byres Road pubs with a chance to read her paper and generally chill out for an hour prior to the meeting. Sitting in the pub minding her own business, and some pissed Glaswegian comes up to her with the (slurred) classic chat up line
