On November 14, 2019, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority for a period of 30 days to Intelsat LicenseLLC to conduct telemetry, tracking and command operations necessary to drift Intelsat 902 from 62.0° E.L. to 309.9° E.L. (50.1° W.L).

Intelsat 9 is also going there (to 50.0°W), to be reached in April next year.
