Hi friends ..
Spent a few hours today updating the flash in my IPbox to the NLB latest image ..
Things had certainly moved on a bit ..
I can now fully control my IP9000 remotely with the on screen virtual remote control ...and best of all the new Web interface now allows Web TV viewing of the box's channels from any pc in my house
The video stream can be paused /recorded and expanded to full screen ..plus audio stream .

Great I can now control record and play both HD tuners/dual dishes & positioners remotely.

This box just keeps getting better..
;)

You may already be aware, but a 7 day EPG is now available for the DGS and E2 based images.

_http://crossepg.com/

It can either download the data from 11778.00 V on Astra 2, or import it from various file types.

I haven't tried it in the on the NLB image yet, but it works perfectly on enigma2.

Have you tried any of the Enigma2 images for the HD IP Box's? Installation is not nearly as complicated as some of the howto's make it out to be. Especially if you have a PC running a Linux OS.

Hi M8 ...
Yes I have two enigma 2 images resident on my hard drive ..
Using a multiboot system ..
but I keep NLB resident in the flash as my default image..
The reason for this is the way Enigma handles ...or should I say doesn't handle a 2 tuner system with 2 motors and 2 dishes attached ..
As you will see from my ' hardware' setup to the left ...I use 2 motorised dishes ..to view the entire sat arc ..
I have to do this because of obstructions ..
A dual tuner system solves my problem under DGS based images ...but Enigma2 gets confused ...and often moves the wrong dish.

I have 60East to 33East on tuner 2 and 28E to 60 West on tuner 1
I get flawless transition between satellites using NLB ...but under Enigma ..anything can happen ..
I switch to Bulsat mux on 39E ...and dish 1 moves etc..
I do hope this gets sorted out ..as I would much prefer to move 'fully' to E2 ...as my prefered o/s ...but for now I just use it occasionally for experiment.

current setup :-
Boot 1 - Flash = NLB 11102
Boot 2 - Enigma2 AAF
Boot 3 - Enigma2 - Summer Dream

Hi

Totally agree NLB image is my main image as its the most stable and boot time is very short compared to Enigma 2 .

Cheers
