I am in a not unique situation where my broadband modem is two rooms away and everything connects via wifi, however since the dreambox was launched there has never (that I know of) been a way of connecting an external wifi to it (wep encrypted).

So are we still in the dark ages in relation to this, or has someone finally resolved this problem

I have one of my box's connected with a belkin gaming adaptor which is fine.
A better solution though which a friend of mine has is home plugs.
He has 200mbs plugs and they are as good as having it wired.

Wifi works perfect on the 800 but I dont know about the 7025. If it works the same way you dont get the option of wifi until you put your usb dongle in the dreambox. Once its in the wifi connection is available in the network settings

As long as the required location is on the same mains supply I recommend the Comtrend powerline adaptors and stick with a cabled solution

I have a Gemini 2. Does that USB adapter work on it? How do I look for it?

If you have a Linksys wireless router, get the compatible usb adaptor for it from any computer shop.

That'll work on all dreamboxes including the 7025 as it requires no drivers. All you have to do is connect it to your laptop and run the set up and connect it to your router and then connect it up with the box and it should work perfectly fine. Plus it'll be cheaper than a home adapter plug
