I have a potato that thinks it's a sunflower, I keep telling it there might be some rule against joining in but she isn't listening

Growth was about 4" at Week 3 of May, now just over 18" and coming along nicely in a new pot.

The forecast for later this week is four days of rain (in the south) so I may have to bring her in.

She grew another two inches in the past 24 hours. I must try some timelapse stuff as turning the pot around results in angling towards the sun in approximately two hours.

Just passed the 24" threshold. I've brought her inside for the time being as we have had an invasion of slugs that demolished the wife's cucumber plant yesterday.

My outdoor one is as expected a mere 30 inches and flower head is forming it is very stunted as it is a harvested crop variety pinched from the birdseed kernels on the other hand the greenhouse one from the old seed that was not showing any signs of germinating, suddenly sprang into life like an express train and is now well over 6ft and reaching for the stars, I will take a snap of them at some point tomorrow, weather permitting

Ah well my 30 inch estimate was 6 inches off it is 3 foot tall but tiny really as expected

On the other hand my greenhouse one (if you can discern it from everything else in there) is 6 ft now and is just going to be repotted into it's final pot

They have shot up a bit since all the rain. There are six in the first pic. They are hard to spot due to all the other plants. The one on the right is the tallest just short of 7 foot. The third pic is two at the gate posts.the one one the right is at 5 foot. They will show up better when they get up to the veranda beams which are at 7 foot. All planted at the same time all growing at different rates.

Flower head forming now on the greenhouse one which is at least 10ft now probably more, will have to measure it tomorrow, despite all the rain the outdoor dwarf is still a dwarf

Not too happy with mine this year (so far). The one at the front is 8' 6" and skinny. Starting to flower but unimpressive.

The rear ones also no contest this year :(
