A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

Just one of thousands reliant on crowdfunding and favours to get on the map.

Be very wary of parting with your cash, especially with the registered office remaining as the formation company.

As for the 'first' smart hiring, they could be taken to task on that.

Which of the hardware features are their unique selling point to you ?

Was just looking around.

And I really wanted a high resolution play back, the sabre dacs also made me look.

And I was trying to find out more information on internet radio.

As I want my coco radio back :D its been a long time.

I need the dac to also have optical output.

There was a Cabasse unit in the pipeline, I'd have to check on progress.

So the home automation connectivity isn't of importance then.

Ive been looking at music systems on and off for the last few months.... I was having a few parties at the house over Christmas
and wanted something for music playlists etc.

Because I have a prime video account with Amazon I get Amazon music too.... a kind of Spotify service which is not brilliant but ok
Although they apparently advertise 40million songs they still don't have a lot of my favourite music :/
but for the full experience like Spotify its £10 a month.... maybe you get access to more songs then?

I have a fairly decent Bluetooth speaker set in the dining room and can stream either service from my Phone, PC or Amazon Firestick via TVs Bluetooth.
The problem is I wanted to play to more speakers and Bluetooth will only allow 1 connection.

Interestingly if you have a paid for Spotify account you can make use of another app called "Jukestar" which means guests at your party use smartphones to add songs
or they can down-vote a song and get it removed off the playlist.... even the current song that's playing. It has an intelligent system too so if one friend tried
to hog the playlist be adding 20 songs it will add them randomly into the playlist behind other friends music.
People can also look through the playlist and up-vote songs so they get played quicker too.

Ideally for me would be wireless speakers around the house that used the wifi to connect to a NAS with a music library or couldn't also use these Spotify/Amazon/Google playlists
Ive yet to see what I'm wanting.

I can only find the earlier spec sheet, but it does include the Stream Source

http://www.cabasse.com/documents/catalogue_stream_us.pdf

And an old review

Cabasse Stream Source: An Island In The Stream - The Audiophile Man

Thanks from a quick look, I like what I am reading, will look more into it.

I have a Spotify account, on a 3 months for 0.99p Sound quality is ok.

Had a tidal sub and wasn't impressed with the collection of artists.

I use a FreeNAS for my digital music storage, there's a few hundred gigs of it, then there's the record collection, I have lost count, I have a back wall covered in them.

And there's my aging old tape collection, and my sacd collection, a small shm collection and finally a very large cd collection.

My maverick d1+ tube magic has my kodi/pc input, that's been tube rolled to a GE tube and I have upgraded the dac chips to the burr-brown chips :-)
