Just upgraded my sky mini dish to a zone 2 dish because we were getting some breakup on channels and bbc radio 2 was unreceivable and we do like to listen to Steve Wright Sunday love songs :)

Anyway here's some photos of my new dish

You can see its just on the standard 6 foot feather edge boards and they are only a few mm thick not long and the boards will bend and split,

Yes, the post would be better, but when bolted through the 10mm panels, the dish will quite happily sit there for several years without a problem. ;)

A little OT but my salvaged 80cm dish has the same wall mount...

Makes me wonder how good or bad those mounts are... :D

I am not saying It will I am just giving advice from a field broadcast engineers point of view,

Myself i think the zone 1 & 2 sky mini dishes are appalling quality don't get me wrong i was give a bunch of them for free off a ex sky monkey a while back but i binned them,

Any one who installs them on a persons house for a living should be ashamed to call them self a professional installer i would never you just get the sky monkeys a.k.a job center rejects a.k.a ex mcdonalds/burger king employees filling the council estates with them i always give people the advise to buy a better quality dish and give them a number for some one who can do a professional install.
