[QUOTE="Stevenvc19, post: 1107827, member: 412723"] Hi all, I've purchased this receiver and I already ran into multiple problems... I hope someone can help me. Openatv 6.4 When going through the installation wizard, the box asks the picture quality. Because I have a 4K TV I want to set the picture quality to 2160p. But this makes te image (especcialy the OSD text) very bad. I get beter picture quality by setting it to 1080p (I also had the same problem with an octagon sf8008 (with openatv) and on another 4K TV so it's definitly something with openatv, i presume) Wanting to install an oscam, i've downloaded an ipk file. When I install it, the receiver gives me a "succes" and no error but the option "oscam" won't appear in the menu so something must have gone wrong, I have no idea what... After installing this oscam ipk file, the receiver craches when trying to make an automatic or manual transponder scan! So i completely installed openatv on another slot and began again from scratch. This way, I knew it was the ipk file that caused the crash while trying to scan. After i've been through the installation wizard again, I wanted to make a back-up to a USB device but I have no idea how it works... Doing a complete back up will take up to 15 minutes says the receiver but I see nothing happening. I've wanted to make a back-up only for the settings so I only need to flash a new image and use the back up to have just my settings back. I am completely new to e2 receivers and I don't have High expectations of it. The only thing I want is to get an oscam working (abertis) I already have my channel list from my primo receiver which was much less complicate! The only thing i've learned is that you have to set a password in openatv in order to reach the receiver using e-channelizer or another ftp client. In short, my problems are; Picture quality 2160p bad (like an old sd channel) whilst 1080p good Getting an oscam working Making a back-up in case is Screw up the receiver Is there someone who has more experience in this?
