I think Llew did a conversion to make it work with band A.Yes, it is the GHz range that determines the Ka-Band letter.
That LNB sold by Satellite Superstore is for use on 9.0 East for the RTE channels on Ka-Band B. As far as I know, it is no good for any of the stuff on Ka-Bands A and D.
Of the 9 Ka-Band satellites that host frequencies with video that are easily visible to most UK locations, only 1 of the 9 uses Ka-Band B (9.0 East)
