Really need some help with moding the firmware for the Opticum / Globo / Orton X403p HD series of micro Linux receivers based on the ALI -6032 chip.
I would like to mod the GUI menus etc but I'm not to sure what software I need to unpack the *.abs files (they seem to be LZMA compressed.)
Basically I'd like to know if I need to unpack the ABS file and extract the data from it, or do I need to mod the firmware in the Receiver via FTP / Telnet etc...
Judging by the amount of modded firmware floating around it's obvious that the firmware can be altered...I would like to know how and with what software...
Any help would be great.
