I did like Safe House, a lot, that was 20 years ago.

Patrick's got a few more tricks up his sleeve.

SWMBO will be very pleased when it becomes clear as to the UK network on which it will appear - let's hope it's not BT or Virginmedia, or else our subs-bills are going to get a lot bigger!

From what I've read it'll be one of the streaming services. Whether it would then get a second showing on a terrestrial channel is a matter of debate.

Won't surprise me if that is the case - hopefully it will be either Amazon Prime or Netflix as we have both, otherwise "more money"o_O

I am glad the new season of Discovery has started, but no sign of Patrick in his holostate so far, ah yes he switched Data off, perhaps he switched himself off at the same time

@Topper

Are you not getting two very different series (Picard on Prime, and Discovery on Netflix) "mixed up together"?

I can't say I remember much in any of the Discovery episodes that mentioned Picard to any extent at all.

Anyway, last Friday we watched latest episodes on Discovery on Prime - 14th episode of Series 2 (not shown before IIRC!) and 1st one of Series 3.

14th episode was full of "action" but the 1st was much less so, with Michael Burnham (a young female Federation officer if someone has never watched Series 1 or 2!) meeting a new companion/assistant after having travelled far into the distant future - and now the "search is on" to find Discovery (which followed her into the future) and then save the Federation (which might be the only, and even then very tenuous link, between the 2 series)!

Well they both revolve around Starfleet and the Federation, Spock etc, indeed Discovery was about ten years before Kirk and the Enterprise, but in reality they're just two different franchises going in two different directions, but yes I am mixing up Picard with Discovery
