You won't get anything on 30.5E and probably not on 21.6E either, and it will be difficult to get anything on 4W or 7W because they are not very strong in the UK. You might get a few channels on 33E (most are encrypted) but you should get quite a few on 9E, so check the latter again and check that you are not actually getting channels on 7E or 10E (the latter is more unlikely as most transponders are relatively weak here).

OTOH, most of the channels on 30W are easily receivable on a Zone 2 dish (I can), and that would seem to indicate that the dish is not quite correctly tracking the arc, and so the motor may need to be "nudged" VERY slightly to the West on the mast/pole, and then the motor elevation and dish declination angles will also need slight tweaking.

BTW: If you have not already done so, check the channels that are actually transmitted by each sat by looking at sites like www.lyngsat.com, www.flysat.com, www.en.kingofsat.net, and so on - OTOH, they are not always totally up-to-date but should be good enough for you to check if you have actually found the relevant sats.

If i move to a certain sat using USALS is that good enough or would I have to tweek them with slight movement????

In some cases yes you will have to tweak them a bit.

It should be "good enough" IF you have got the dish in the correct E-W position on the mast - but it often isn't (as I have often been reminded - especially by @Channel Hopper and @a33!) - but if you do need to make alterations of more than a couple of tenths of a degree then something isn't quite right with the motor/dish combo on the mast, as, otherwise, making such adjustments may just "confuse" further adjustments (i.e. "win some, lose some")

Have you checked that you're using the correct transponders, on 30W, as it should be reasonable easy to pick up?

Check the first lyngsat link, posted above, there isn't a 10730 V 30000, on 30W, there is a 10730 H 27500, DVB-S2 8PSK.

Did you ensure that it was DVB-S2 and not DVB-S?

is it a bit low

Sorry to be naive but how do you pick DVB-S2 was only able to change Transponder to 10730 H 27500

Check your receivers manual, and have a look at William-1's strongest transponders thread:

That could indicate that the dish is scanning slightly higher or lower than "optimum" - try setting the motor to 30W and then gently raise and lower the dish arm to see if you can then get a signal. If you do manage to do that then report here which direction worked as that may help us to advise you what to do next.

BTW: ARISE News is FTA on 10730 H 27500 and is a very strong signal (easily receivable on a Zone 2 dish) and is the one I usually use to locate Hispasat.

You don't have to do anything! Your TM 5402 M3 (together with all other DVB-S2 capable receivers) will automatically recognize and resolve a DVB-S2 channel to give a picture on your TV/monitor.

That implies that that the dish is "looking" slightly below sat when at 30W and probably the same at 28.2E when the arm has been lifted that little bit

It would suggest that you need to very slightly nudge the motor a tad to the West on the pole, but with the dish arm in its original position and not raised that 2mm - that would then raise the dish beam a little at 30W, and thus get the channels on there, and lower it a little at 28.2E, which shouldn't matter as most of the channels there are very strong.

It should also help all with most of the sats in between as the dish should then be tracking the arc rather better.
