problems recording to harddrive

I installed a 1TB Western Digital Harddrive in my Dreambox 8000 yesterday, it recorded perfect last night when I tested it, but today when I tried recording I got a green error screen moreless saying the image is restarting,

what is causing this??, anyone else had this problem??
How can I sort this??

help needed ASAP

The green screen tells you where it stored the crash log. Post it at nabilo for them to investigate. Have you tried initialising the hard disk again ?

i've tried initialising the harddrive again and also the filesystem check

i was needing it for today too

I'd be tempted to backup your config and bouquets and reflash from scratch with the hdd installed.

its sorted now, I think i found the problem, was something in the timer, some epg update thing, i disabled it and it appears to be working fine now,

phewwww.... no need for a reflash, thank god, lol

i found myself going round in circles, didn't get to bed till 6am, it still wasn't sorted, i got up at 10am this morning and now with a bit more faffing about i've managed to resolve it, touch wood i shouldn't have any more probs


what would be a hell of a lot easier is if there was some sort of thing like in windows, a system restore point that gets created everytime a change in made to the box, or is there?? lol


anyways, the bottom line is, Its sorted

you may want to make a note of this hiccup for future references as someone might come across the exact same problem

glad you got it sorted mate, you must have tried all sorts to resolve it.

must have been some bug but i'm sure that they'll fix that in a future release.

Sounds like dreambox mania is setting in, get help before its too late
