No prob. Most of the staff are around the forum most days, so if he doesnt appear this evening it'll be tomorrow.

by the way - if the missus starts checking the insurance then wants you back on the roof --- hide the ladders quick! :-rofl2

Hi mate, I think we have already been in communication by email. I'm in Cyprus forthe next 3 weeks, so can't do anything till I get back.

Hi. I have a normal sky minidish setup at the moment and am about to get a openbox. I would like to be able to get hotbird and sky, but don't really want to get another dish up. i am not really going to watch hotbird that much so am more concerned with reception on the sky setup.
Would it be possible to put another LNB up offset to 13 degrees east for hotbird on the same dish as the sky. I know it's a stretch but I've heard that it has been done. If so how much approxiamtely would you charge to set it up with the LNB, a diseqc switch and cabling to the box. The cable would have to go between my conservatory and fence which are about 15 centimetres apart into my living room.
Let me know what you think
Thx
Andy

PM me for an estimate or further details. Or post in this thread and I will contact you.

Hi Robbo,
I've only ever had 4 analogue channels which are going to be switched off on April 18th. It seems after that we will only get FreeView Lite
( relay ). Looking at all my alternatives, I think FTA satellite is my best bet. After reading ( and re-reading ) through this forum I have now bought an Inverto Black Ultra 0.2 dB Single Output LNB, TM-2600 Super DiSEqC H-H Motor ( both from sponsor WoS ) and a Fracarro Penta 85 Brick Red Aluminium Dish. I haven't bought a receiver yet though the VU+ Duo looks top of my list.
I see from your website that you cover " Anywhere within a one hour drive from the Dartford Tunnel basically ". I live at 51.8ºN, 0.0ºW
and according to AA Route Planner is 47 mins drive from the Dartford Tunnel ( M25/A10 ). Using Dishpointer Android AR I think I might be able to get 58W to 53E if the dish is mounted on the second floor. South facing wall is perpendicular to 14W. Would you consider this installation and could you PM me an estimate ? I'm new to this forum and thus my PM is probably not enabled.

Thanks for getting back to me Robbo. Yes, I still need this doing. The dish needs to be on the First floor ( not second floor as stated above ).

It needs to be fixed to pebbledash but you can see where the mortar lines run from, from the edgeing.

Please PM me with costs if you can help.

Got your PM fine, thanks.

I'm still waiting for my dish as my county supplier:

were doing Fracarro Penta 85's for £ 55 inc delivery which seemed like a good deal.

They don't however stock the Brick Red coloured one but agreed to order me one specially from Italy :)
