Yep agree thats why with the Smartphone you can alter the size of the buttons or layout structure to suit your own needs similar to what the harmony does, Had a harmony for over 12 years in different forms and would never use another control apart from my Smartphone which s slowly winning the remote war for me

I personally do not like GB quad remote: it is too big, has too many unnecessary buttons, not universal and not very ergonomic. But am probably little bit spoiled by remote of DM which I like much more. :rolleyes:

1 GigaBlue Quad plus, 1 Dreambox 5620, MOTECK SG2100A DISEqC Motor, 120 cm noname offset dish, Humax 95 cm offset dish and a few UK digiboxes.

Is there a backup utility whereby I can make a copy of the whole system onto my USB stick, so other users can use that to install it on their box for instance?

If you're using OpenVIX, there's an option to backup the whole thing to a USB drive. Blue button > image manager if I remember correctly.

Yes, I did that - I want to try an ATV image, but as the open vix seems to work I better back it up...
