They appear to be pre-recording tonight's X Factor with a start time of around 16.30. While they are more than likely using the fibre link to do the recording, I imagine the satellite feed will still be there as a back up. I'm locked on 12.5w but no signal yet. Has anyone spotted anything on 10E?

I would check 10E but we are still on holiday. What's the reason for the pre-record?

Robbie Williams needs to fly out for a concert, lame reason if you ask me!

Looks like they used this as an emergency playout, with the Fibre recording suffering major sound issues. With it being a pre-recording, there would have been no uplink time booked to do it on 12.5w/10E, so it makes sense that they used 28.2e which as far as I know, they have a constant link up to.

Nope nothing at all. The show was pre-recorded so there was no talkback track.

I haven't been able to find any feed for tonight's show which is 100% live. Anyone spotted anything?
