Many thanks Chris,

I do have a four channel cctv system but I only have three cameras atm my point in ordering a fourth, I did have it connected to my phone, but I moved the system upstairs and need to run a Ethernet cable back to the router when I find the time, this is my view atm the camera bottom right will be moved once the SH is secure and the new camera will cover the rest of my drive, the camera on the roof is motorised pal.

Morning J, I know very little about them TBH, I just went out and bought this in the link below,
http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/2143941.htm
When I was messing around on 11mtr band I bought an antenna rotator for a yagi I made, I took the yagi down and installed the tv antenna on the rotor along with a camera, the Ethernet cable is only a gimmick to me so I can view it on my phone/laptop

Chris seems more clued up and should be able to help you more pal, as I say I just installed it and left it recording more of a deterrent than anything. I will be upgrading all tvs to smart so I can put it on any tv that will be on my network in the end

Sorry I cant help any more pal :(
Thanks Martin.....hectic this morning but will have a read a little later.

Top man, thanks. respect-048.gif

Once I have the roof fitted, hopefully Thursday/Friday the out side cladding wont take long, its the finishing touches and floor new window in the shed electrical wiring will take time on the inside, hopefully next weekend it should be down to snagging and a few bits,

Then we might get to see the 1.8 dish up :) oh and on cam?
I am unsure what order I am going to do things, but I have a small patio small decking area gates and dish, this project has made me hold of doing the dish, its on cam now chris lol

Hi, I managed to get the old gate out and little bit of cladding fitted, I am so pleased how it looks, a coat of paint on the door and cover the letter box up and it should look even better :).

Not seen the one from the back for a few days now, she maybe giving birth.

Last year she had 2 lots of 3 babies.

So fingers crossed.

Hope you've got a suitably impressive door chime to go with it :)

Its obviously not our front door, but we will be spending lots of time in there so something will have to go in:).

Just a random thought, maybe it'd be appropriate to split the camera stuff off into it's own thread perhaps? It's drowning out the summerhouse project (which is looking great now with the door on!!)... :)

I have no problems with it here but it would be best for helping others with its own thread, carry on here for the time being and I will move post to a new thread later when I find the time :)

That was partially my thoughts too, handy to have an IP cam thread cos they can be fiddly to set up for those new to the idea (took me long enough to get mine going, about 3 or 4 days!!!)... :)
