Done that particular external ALGA RED 5G filter addition to the Norsat lnb - very effective but too much system loss incurring neccessitating a step up in dish size to be a usable option. The game continues
Yep they really are :Y.... rated at rx pass 3.82~4.2GHz with nice sharpe rx cut-off either end of the rx range with very low insertion loss effectively kills the local 5G signal at 3.8G dead - better than the same range Norsat 3200F-BPF-8 5G lnb.
Hmmm it might be but not 100% sure as i can receive 3.890 H ok allthough a lot weaker than the 3.810 H signal vid posted #97. I'll put an extra 5G filter, the ALGA RED , in front of the Norsat 3200F-BPF-8 and observe the difference.
The strong-ish signal at 3.810 H would be interesting to try , it seems to be encryption of some sort which i can't remember seeing previously. My LT8700 can't make anything out of it no matter what settings i try. See vid...
I'm just trialling a Norsat 3200F-BPF-8 5G lnb at the moment and these two grabs are from using it - The digital signal levels are very close to lock on my 2.2 PF, a 5G polution free area could do better with them.
The two Hor PAL sigs 3.890 H & 3.810 H shown...
For me there not, the desructive up and down wash from one end to the other end of the band from the local 5G 3.8Ghz frequency tower 300mtrs away is just too strong without the filter. there's only one watchable Analogue signal for me with the filter in and thats 3.810 Hor PAL . I can see...
I usually skip past 53° West to be honest MB for the same sort of reasons, 5G etc, but when i saw fellow member dx qwer's post i thought i would give it a shot whilst trialing this new 3.82-4.20G Norsat 3200F-BPF-8 5G lnb on the 2.2PF and there it was.
@ 53West - Just in lock here in Central UK - 2.2 PF , trialing a Norsat 3200F-BPF-8 pll lnb. Heads up & thanks from member qwer :Y.

I don't usually monitor 23.5E Ka on my 1.2 Gibby from my qth here in Central UK due to very poor footprint - today, on a casual scan H i see a marker at 21833 H. which i'm pretty certain iv'e not noticed before. I'm on a linear feed so it could be a circ pol marker - is anybody able to check for...
