I forgot to add that the box came supplied with a "continental" two pin plug. I have got an adapter to use but i think it's for smaller electrical items. Is this safe or do I need a specific adapter ?

Thanks for the reply. I did look at the openbox s10 but was put off by the low channel store which I understood to be only 5000 channels although at those prices on eBay I think I could live with that!!
