What you see depends on how you look at it. The narrow bandwidth plot makes the carrier look very high. However, measuring the relative power shows that the carrier is about the same level as the wanted signal. These figures are relative as the system is not calibrated end to end:
Carrier level = -51dBm
Wanted signal power -124dBm/Hz
Wanted signal in 28MHz = -124 + 74dBm = 51dBm i.e. a similar level to the carrier
Net result is that it is still jamming but probably isn't overloading the transponder. Controlled vandalism.

irib channels on 62 degree east under attack. this is a marvellous response to anti people media.Presumably the jamming of the IRIB channels themselves (e.g on Eutelsat 13°E 10775H) is retaliatory by or on behalf of Eutelsat, because of the Iranian jamming of the other transponders.
Adam I'm sure the interference to 10775H is in retaliation but as to who's doing it we don't know. I'm sure Eutelsat have to sign up to ITU regs. So they are unlikely. When two regimes are at odds they don't want the other side to hear what's actually going on eg Ukraine/Russia. Truth is the first casualty.Presumably the jamming of the IRIB channels themselves (e.g on Eutelsat 13°E 10775H) is retaliatory by or on behalf of Eutelsat, because of the Iranian jamming of the other transponders.
Very strong signal on this transponder but World Poker Tour has had disturbances since it started. Today it's actually working better than usual (haven't watched it for some time). Is the jamming still happening, Hot Bird (13.0E) 11355V breaks up for me?
