A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

Apart from a Saturday evening slot on the major broadcasts, is there a dedicated channel for Bavarian entertainment on Astra 1 ?

I've scanned the satellite twice now and whilst I can see listings for 'Bayern', these are just the regional options for the major channels (Sat 1 and RTL) on 12.544 and 12.188 GHz .

Thanks in advance.

BR Fernsehen (11582H/11836H) is the regional public channel for Bavaria so would have the most relevant stuff I would think.

Then you've got a load of Bavarian local channels on 10714H - not sure what they show, but some of the stuff may be of interest!

RTL and SAT.1 have a half hour weekday opt-out for regional news around 6:30pm and that's about it I think.

Munchen TV always takes a lot of local coverage from Oktoberfest, although it gerts repeated a fair bit during the day.
