Good afternoon from an overcast Mullion Cove Cornwall.

A bug on the Technomate TM 5402 M3 Version 1.38p

When deleting stations individually, after putting the X to a random number of stations it will lock up, requiring a power off to clear it.

The delete all option works fine.

I have tried adding the X slowly. but it can still happen.

God Bless Spiff

Somewhere in England (possibly?)!
Probably why (I can't remember now) "Phantompatch 146" was later developed - has some issues, but not that one! I tried to upload a Zipped version but that was rejected as being too large.

Not sure if it is available on this forum (or maybe a Staff member could get it to you) - if not then it does seem to be available for download from some other sat sites & forums.

Thank you for that I have found a site with all the patches plus instructions.

It does sound as if 146 was more to do with encryption ?

Others will know far better than I, but I think that's only part of the story - I use it on my TMs, and, as I said, it doesn't have the "irritating" problem that you are having.

Edited:
OTOH, it does have one somewhat infuriating issue: when you switch the TM from Standby to ON, don't be surprised if it switches back OFF almost immediately after you press a button on the R/C, and then you have to switch it ON again - and so be very careful which is the next R/C button that you press as that might result in the same thing again. However, you soon learn which button NOT to press after switching the unit ON, and then it generally "behaves itself" after that.

Thank you for the warning.

Perhaps the cure is worse than the disease : )

In reality, the "cure" IS probably better than the "disease" :D
