Hello everybody
I ask for an information for a 36 inch actuator, this actuator has to work a lot since the person who uses it switches from one satellite to another many times a day, I would like to know which is the best 36 inch actuator for sale the budget is not a problem up to 300/350 €
what do you think of the venture models?
do they have metal gears?
the disc in use is a 180 laminas
or if you know of other brands
best regards
Antonio

I use a 36" Venture actuator to throw my 2.2mtr Cband rig about with no effort at all over many positions East to West sometimes many times a day - it's been in use now for a long time and has not been any trouble at all.

We had a 'Group Buy' between a few of us here on the forum and imported them from Rick's Satellite in the USA - very expensive. I can't remember the exact catalogue number of mine, Scopus did the import and might be able to give us some more info.

A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

Venture actuators are long lived, but noisier than an Asian equivalent.

If the dish is near a neighbour's bedroom you may find they will not like you unless you add a lot of soundproofing.

Ditto John, my Venture has been excellent too.
I cannot remember the exact amount they were, just wander over to Ricks site and that will give you some idea, we had the ball screw versions. We managed to saved on postage with doing a group buy but still had to pay import duty at this end.

OMG, initial thought from my side is ... who needs a 36" heavy duty for a 180 cm dish?!
Anyway, ball screw from whatever manufacturer is favourable to acme for noise reasons.

thanks for the information, the person today has a superjack and every 2 years he has to replace the motor due to wear, one question but these motors can be used with an echostar AD 3600 IP decoder?
since the person who needs one of these motors only uses this decoder for his system
best regards

I'm sure venture supplies motor options, both sensor type as well as 24 and 36V drive voltage.
