If you are thinking of buying anything via Amazon this year please consider signing up to Amazon Smile - their charity arm. You just log in via a specific url & choose your preferred charity. They get 0.5% of your purchase on qualifying items.

OK I admit its not a great amount but if say your preferred charity is the RNLI or the RSPB all those individual pennies soon start to add up for them over dozens or hundreds of people purchasing things with RNLI /RSPB as the nominated charity.

If you are thinking of buying anything you may want to check out the price trends via this site - Im in the market for a 1tb ssd for the missus's laptop for a win10 upgrade over the xmas holidays and Ive found my preferred model (Crucial) is at its lowest price today. So its on order & a few pennies will be going to my nominated charity. And the missus will get a good as new laptop over xmas :D (Her only demand is I do my desktop computer first so if I stuff mine up she can say no.......)

I already try to use the Amazon Smile route when I can.

BTW: when cloning to an SSD, I generally use the free Minitool Partition Manager VERSION11 which generally works well, but NOT the free Version 12 because they have removed the free cloning tool from that one and it tells you to upgrade to the paid version to get it!

NB: I found V11 to be better than Macrium Reflect as it has worked when Macrium threw errors and didn't!

So, if anyone wants V11, then PM me and I can try to email it.
