For an Apple iPod 6 Touch (so I assume the same as an iPhone 6).
This is following on from the SkyQ thread of last week.
I have the RF Explorer Combi that reaches into the 5GHz range to check for measuring signals around the house. Very useful but whilst there is a dedicated WiFi setting for 2.4GHz stuff, on the upper band settings currently I only have the frequency range which does not differentiate between channels.
On the office Samsung Galaxy I have the WiFi Analyser from Abdelrahman which runs at real time and gives instant clues as to dead zones and conflicts between routers and other wireless kit.
That particular app has the capability of scanning at 5GHz, but the android is only 2.4GHz.
The iPod Touch is 802.11ac compliant but I have not found an app that is similar to the one above.
So, does anyone have an app link for the iPhone/iPad that can analyse the 5GHz band ?
