Any free Cooking Channels?

Hi,

not for me but for my Mum who cannot seem to get enough of cooking programs, are there any FTA cooking channels/programs on any satellite? Thanks in advance.

Out of curiosity is there any satellite showing FTA Fox News? (for me) Cheers.

Gusto TV on 19E has cookery progs on it.. Much of the output is in German, although I have seen English on there in the past.

All versions of Fox News in Europe are scrambled

"Internationale Highlights" are English language but only 60 minutes long.

tv.gusto is one of Mrs.Uno's favourites (and mine!)

Always look at that when there's nothing decent on UK Television - ie quite often.

Chiefly re-runs of UK and German shows, but scheduled in a varied and interesting manner.

UK shows are generally mid-evening.

Many of the French channels will have a good hour of cookery programmes/hints daily

A local installer here in the Canaries advertises a system with:-

One off payment.
24hr blockbuster movie channels.
sitcoms/drama channels, CSI, 24, Midsummer Murders, Oprah, Desperate Housewifes, Simpsons etc.
Premiere cooking channel
BBC News, Sky News
BBC Sport events and much more.

Cant be cheeky and ask him direct, but what satellites do you think he is aligning to?

Its probably a microwave deflector system not via satellite.
