Other than occasional events like golf and MLS, there seems to be nearly zero US or North American content watchable in Europe on Ku band any more :(

The NBC Today feeds on on 15W have been gone for a few months but the colour bars of Dad 4 and Dad 5 are still broadcasting. MSNBC went in early 2020.

Of course there is AFN on 9E but that is now hard to decrypt. Most NFL seems to be C band.

I'm missing the turn of the century days of 12.5W and 43W.

Has it all gone to fibre optic? Will this pick up after the pandemic?

There will be a replacement satellite slotting at 12.5W in the near future, so thats a possible for future activity

Channel NHL1 on 22W occasionally shows sports feeds in the clear.

Channel NHL1 on 22W occasionally shows sports feeds in the clear.

Recently I've seen MLS, baseball, NFL & today horse racing on the NHL transponder, all in 60hz so no judder like you get on most US sports feeds. Then in the afternoons there's a farming show on if you like to know the price of cattle in dollars per hundredweight.

It is worth doing a blind scan on 22 west I have found it to be active in the evenings for North American feeds most of the time they are FTA :)

Opry on 22w (nee NHL1) now showing ice hockey Penn State vs Wisconsin in 720p60. The motion is far superior to the usual NHL feeds, provided your receiver is not converting it to 50hz.

Ohio vs Minnesota coming up after this one finishes.
