One of the best Soul singers I have ever heard has sadly passed away RIP Aretha,

What a Divine Voice! When I first heard her,in 1969,I had the same strong emotion as "Toccata and Fugue in re minor" by J.S. Bach but with another instrument.Maybe the comparison will seem to you exaggerated,but the feeling of ascending to the heights is what marks the life of a young man when listening to such a voice.I am not religious guy too, as somebody was saying on the topic,but that feeling I found in myself only in such music and voices.And Aretha had the vocal force to pierce the inner barrier of each,I had this feeling every time I listened her,transposing me into another state of mind,one of joy.
Such music helps you get through all the troubles that we have throughout our lives.At least in my case, it had this effect.She made me feel better every time I heard her voice.Thank you Aretha for that.
