That was quick!
I took a look on Ka 17.5-20.7 RHCP but could not see anything at the time of posting. However, SBIRS-GEO 2 is passing that position and is very strong. When set to 28W, 20252.36 RHCP peaked on one of the side lobes of the 1.2m dish at about -25dB from the main beam. The screen capture is from n2yo.com with SBIRS highlighted.Indeed GX5 is still at 11.0°E.
Meanwhile, the next generation Inmarsat GX6A (or Inmarsat-6 F1) was launched from Tanegashima, Japan on 22 Dec 2021.
Cat.nr. 50319, 2021-128A (I didn't find a topic here for this launch).
This one has electric propulsion, and took over half a year to arrive yesterday at the 28.0°W testing location.
