About 10 mins ago, I was watching CNN on Ch 506 (IIRC) and then everything froze - the RX (DRX 895)is now telling me that the the box isn't getting a sat signal, and one sat input is showing 90% SS& SQ and Input 1 LOCK indication is "OK, but other one is showing (corrected) 0% SS and 0% SQ, and NOT LOCKED.

So is anyone else in the London having the same issue, or is this a box problem (which I think it might be)?????

Edited: switched the box to Single Channel mode, it rebooted and now have reception on Input 1, and so it does look like a box problem and maybe I'll have to swop to the "LIDL 895" (hope it still works!) which is on the shelf upstairs (and probably have to swop the HDD's to get access to all the recordings (a job I really do not relish!).

Now reset it back into dual channel mode and it's working but, again, showing 0% SS & SQ on Input 2..

Looks' like it is the box - unless one of the inputs on the quad on the dish has failed? Will try changing to another of the 3 cables coming down from from quad (the 4th one got repurposed for the feed from the NVR in the attic)

The failure was very sudden - one moment all was OK, and the next it wasn't. Thus does anyone have any experience of this happening as that might point to the cause of the issue?

Edited:
Problem = "stupid human"! -> I then had a "thought" as I had moved the AV cabinet to refit the power connector to the lounge PC in that cabinet.

That must have slightly disturbed the cables to the SKY box, and then, a few minutes later, the cable into Input 2 must have come slightly loose in the F-connector:-doh- remade that connection and I now have 90% SS & SQ on both inputs.

As I said = "stupid human" - or was it just "Sod's Law"????

Haha, you won't be the first to do it and won't be the last, I've had lots of service calls which involve similar furniture moves.:) I did have one which I thought was cable connection repated, but tyurned out to be crosstalk on the LNB and moving the second connectio to the port on the other end of the LNB solved it.:)
