Does anyone know if they have reduced the power of this transponder over the last week or so ?

I live in SE Spain and suddenly cannot receive BBC West Midlands or any other stations which use 10788 VERTICAL. Signal strength readings for this transponder on my receiver are terrible ...

Everything else on my system seems normal - the usual signal strengths are displayed etc etc

Thanks.

Unlikely a single transponder would suffer reduced power. Dish alignment or failing LNb?

Yep, agree with all your comments .. the whole thing is crazy - also affected BBC NW, YORK +LINC, YORK, EM, EAST etc etc ie everything using transponder 10788.

Happily, everything has come back to normal now, and BBC Midlands is showing a higher signal strength than BBC West, which didn't go off at all.:-ohcrap
We often suffer from climatic effects but the first to suffer is usually BBC2 and that has been consistently OK.

All the usual checks (antenna alignment, dogey co-ax etc etc didn't show anything ..... so nothing changed !)

Anyway all's well that end's well; thanks everyone for your interest.
