28A transponders 11222H ,11585H, 11604V and 11662H did not move overnight. Signal levels here in SE England are identical, to the same percentage point of dB, to yesterday's.

Not sure if location makes a difference but signal quality indication on my F3 on 11222H up from 70-71% to 75-76%, usual level for one the PE beams on 2E/2F for me.

C5 is up to 12dB now. Is this really a different satellite? Or was it just doing some station keeping maneuver that caused us to see a signal change. Once I've got 24 hours data I'll be able to compare. If I had to guess I'd say all these transponders are on the same satellite as 24 hours ago.

Yesterday evening 10.964 > 11126 were uniquely strong here, maybe just coincidence but still hoping it really was a move, to a locally better 2G uk beam.

About 11222 H, 11260 V, 11261 H, 11307 H, Flysat lists them on uk, levels have increased here & are very strong, must be 2G eu.

Out of those only 11222H was supposed to move along with 11264H (and probably 11224V and 11259V). Signal levels all changed a for me this morning.

11585H, 11604V and 11662H are the 28A D transponders that will need to be temporarily moved before they can switch over to Astra later in the month.

Freesat EPG updated their frequencies slightly by a few MHz to reflect the moves to 2G last night.

I think the new 2G transponders will be:

TA1 11.225H
TA2 11.225V
TA3 11.265H
TA4 11.265V

I'm assuming they'll start with 11.225H as TA1, if we are to follow the pattern with 2F's TA transponder from the beginning of the month:

TA5 11.306H
TA6 11.306V
TA7 11.344H
TA8 11.344V

Hi

11681V duplicated on 11973V
11585H duplicated on 11464H
11604V duplicated on 11479V
11662H duplicated on 11508V

All on Europe Beam.

Frequencies may not be exact, I didn't use BlindScan. I just keyed frequencies from the standard Astra frequency plan into my Skybox to see if anything was there.

Regards,
Bengt

Just noticed this was mentioned in another thread. Sorry!

Correction: 11222 H, 11224 V, 11260 V, 11261 H.

11224 V shows the strongest levels I've ever seen on the receiver.

Which 2F transponders are you looking for? Most 2F UK spots switched to 2G yesterday.

Well as far as I know we haven't had any official announcements that 2G is even in operation. SES has been a bit quiet about it. At the moment we're just going on reports such as yours that there have been changes in reception patterns and the odd post/hint on forums with people who have connections with the uplink providers. It all seems to suggest the moves did take place.

So the whole thread is based purely on conjecture , don't think it will stand up in court!

Let's hope we don't need to go to court then. ;)

PS. I think multiple reports from around Europe on these forums are far better than any vague publicity PR press releases.

Well it is there for all to see in the DVB tables on 11778V. Look at the TSIDs.

Correction: 11222 H, 11224 V, 11260 V, 11261 H.

11224 V shows the strongest levels I've ever seen on the receiver.

Yes these must be 2G European beam:

11222 H = 92 %
11224 V = 99 %
11260 V = 99 %
11261 H = 95 %

A big improvement since yesterday so for sure this is 2G!
